SPARKLY MOTH QUEST 2024 (and likely onward)
So. I may be insane and inspired by various Youtubers who have done this before, but what better way to dedicate my time to one of my favorite Pokemon than to hunt it's shiny until I'm sick of it? In every Poke Ball I can manage without hacking, even!
So, allow me to introduce you to my sweet baby child of a shiny who I love dearly:
Look at them. Not a single thought behind those eyes. And what a lovely shade of blue as well! It's probably one of my favorite shinies of all time, and I'd love nothing more than to dedicate my time to searching for these glorious, blue babies.
No particular rules for this challenge! Just gotta hope for outbreaks, if I happen to find Venonat I'll evolve them immediately, but yes. I want a collection of sparkly moths.
I'll be tracking my progress below the cut! Feel free to shout encouragement or insanity at me below.

The end of the year is fast approaching. I've got one more day to deal with people trying to get their last minute alcohol and anticipating something to go particularly stupid before it ends, but over all...2023 is a year that's a vivid blur to me.
Things happened. Work happened. I got a raise, and it was a pretty damn good one if I say so myself. I still have a job and a roof over my head, and though thinking for too long about it brings all the things that I was upset about this year to the forefront, even those are just kind of blurs to me right now. Maybe that should be concerning, but...well, it was just another year. I'll take it after the way the past few years in these 2020s have gone lmao
Stuffs slowing down work-wise, and I'm starting to pick back up into RP after having to drop my only game due to the things detailed in the last entry. I'm hoping to hear favorable results back for the two (two!! somehow two!!) apps I submitted, but realistically, I only expect one of them to get in, if any do at all. If I don't get in, at the very least I am perfectly content to just take a breather from RP for a bit and focus on other stuff.
Fic writing is a particular one, though I've got my gacha games to keep up with too. Lots of saving I gotta do, and I've got it semi planned out. At least for the banners we know far into the future about, lmao. But at any rate, I'm gonna be greeting 2024 with guarded curiosity, and hope that the future will be brighter soon.
